Every great restaurant has its secrets. At Chilli Fagara, one of ours is our Chilli Powder House Blend — a proprietary dried chili mix developed over two decades and used throughout our menu to build the distinctive heat and depth that keeps our guests coming back for 20 years and counting.
Unlike single-variety chili powders, our house blend combines carefully selected dried chilies chosen for specific qualities: one variety for bright red color, another for fragrant aroma, another for clean sustained heat. The result is a powder with multiple dimensions — not just hot, but flavorful, vibrant and deeply satisfying. This is not a supermarket chili powder. It is a chef’s ingredient, made available to the home kitchen for the first time.
This blend is genuinely versatile. At its simplest, a pinch over fried noodles or scrambled eggs adds an immediate, colorful lift. At its most sophisticated, it forms the dry spice base for complex marinades, dry rubs, and spice crusts that transform how you cook meat, tofu, and vegetables at home. No cooking experience is required to benefit from it.
